Jets' rally falls short at Rose State

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- NOC Enid rallied from 5-1 scoring three runs in the seventh but fell short 5-4 at Midwest City in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Thursday.

Trailing 5-1 in the seventh, Brylee Brungardt-Davis drove in Amy Chronister and then Morgan Hayes homered to cut the lead to 5-4.

Emily Gregory doubled and homered for the Jets.

Lakelynn Thompson allowed five runs on three hits.  She struck out nine walked 11.

The Jets (8-30) fell to 1-13 in league play while Rose State (30-16) improved to 12-4.
