"Great to get back in the win column after a few draws," said coach Joe Jolly. "The ladies fought hard for this one with a goal from Mia Landin in the first half, and a game winner from Marcela Lozano to seal the deal with only 3 minutes remaining."
Landin's goal, her first of the year, at 34:30 gave the Lady Jets a 1-0 lead. After the Aggies tied the score at 1-1. Lozano scored the game winner at the 87th minute.
Alex Price recorded nine saves for the Lady Jets allowing one goal.
With Sunday's win, the Lady Jets are in 4th place in the conference with a 3-3-2 record. They trail UA Rich Mountain (AR), Seminole, and Rose State.
The Lady Jets are at NEO Wednesday for a conference game at 5 p.m. in Miami.
