COFFEYVILLE, Kansas -- NOC Enid's women tied Coffeyville 1-1 on Saturday in the season opener.

Alyssa Harvey scored the lone Jets' goal at the 37:00 mark in the first half.

Goalkeeper Alex Price stopped five shots, allowing one goal.

NOC outshot Coffeyville 6-4.

"Overall a positive day for our first competition as a group this year," said coach Joe Jolly.  "Will need to address a few silly mistakes, but we showed flashes of what this group has to offer."

The Jets host Hutchinson (KS) at 5 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the home opener.
