NOC Women's soccer opens the 2025 season Saturday at Coffeyville Community College for a 5 p.m. kick-off.
The Jets, under first year head coach Joe Jolly, have a mix of returnees and newcomers in 2025.
Returnees include Karen Avalos, Mia Landin, Lauren Lindell, Alyssa Harvey, Matisse Ames, Briana Vega , Joceline Bautista, Marcela Lozano, Marisa Chavez, and Yaretzy Beltran Ramirez.
Last year the Jets' women finished the year at 9-7-3.
Coach Jolly likes his team through fall training.
"I believe this year's team has a very strong core of returning players that have shown up to camp super determined to prove themselves this year," Jolly said. "With the addition of a strong freshmen class, we are very excited to see what this season brings."
The women's squad is nearly all Oklahoma players, something Jolly likes.
"Having a team of mostly all native Oklahoma players with the exception of one, we are ready to show what Oklahoma soccer has to offer," he said. "With both the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament and NJCAA National Tournament being here in Oklahoma this year we are looking forward to getting the season started."
The women open the home schedule on Aug. 31 against Hutchinson (KS) at 5 p.m.
