DENISON, Texas --  The NOC Enid Jets split a pair of games in Denison, Texas, Friday beating Hutchinson (KS) 7-1 and losing to Vernon (TX) 4-0.

The Jets (3-1) were set to face Dodge City (KS) and INorth Central Texas College on Saturday in the two day festival.

In Game 1, Krista Yackeyonny had two singles and three runs batted in while Madison Gabeau improved to 2-0 in the circle in the 7-1 win.

Alexis Enslinger added two hits while Kaycee Babek had a double and two runs batted in.

The Jets broke open a close game with four runs in the fifth increasing the lead from 3-1 to 7-1.

Gabeau tossed 6.1 innings allowing one run on five hits.  Madison Kovar finished the game with .2 innings of one hit relief.

In Game 2, the Jets lost to Vernon (TX) 4-0.

The Jets had six singles in the game, Slater Eck had two hits and a stolen base.

Reagan Detrick was the starter in the circle with bullpen help from Ashleigh McCause and Kovar.
