NOC Enid rallied from a 20 point deficit only to fall short in an 85-81 loss to Connors on sophomore night on Thursday.
The Jets (17-13) fell to 6-10 in conference while Connors (16-8) improved to 10-6.
Kejaun Payne led the Jets with 21 while Gavin Barnard had 19 and Jaden Constant 15.
Riley Shore had seven rebounds while Payne added six.
The Jets trailed the Cowboys 45-31 at half but made a furious rally late. Trailing by double figures with 2:00 to play, the Jets almost came all the way back cutting the Connors lead to 83-81 with :07 left.
The Cowboys then made two late three throws to earn the five point win.
Sophomores honored by the Jets include Dontrell Yearby, Oryne Stewart, Gavin Barnard, KeJuan Payne, Hunter Miller, Riley Shore, and Darian Grant.
What's Next: The Jets face Murray State in the Region 2 Tournament in Muskogee on Thursday, March 12.
