NOC Enid closed the first semester at 11-3 with a 79-66 win over Southwestern Christian College on Friday at the Mabee Center.

KeJuan Payne led the Jets with 21 points, while Gavin Barnard added 15. Dontrell Yearby and Oryne Stewart also scored in double figures with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Darian Grant led NOC Enid with 10 rebounds, and Payne added eight.

The Jets shot 50% from the field and 30% from 3-point range.

NOC Enid jumped out to an early 24-9 lead, but the Rams rallied to cut the deficit to 34-27 at halftime.

The Jets gradually pulled away in the second half, building their largest lead at 63-44 before closing out the victory.

NOC Enid opens conference play Jan. 5 at Eastern.
