EL RENO, Oklahoma --  The NOC Lady Jets dropped their conference opener at Redlands Thursday night despite 33 points from Tegan Jones.

Jones, a freshman from Shattuck, Oklahoma, was 9 of 15 from the floor and 13 of 17 from the foul line.

NOC  (1-4) got out to a slow start as Redlands led 12-7 after one quarter and 34-25 at half.

The Lady Jets cut the lead to 46-42 after three but Redlands pulled away for the 67-55 win.

Jade Hazelbaker also reached double figures with 10.

Elizabeth Simpson led the team with eight rebounds while Aleisha Hester added six.

NOC travels to Murray State Monday for a 5:30 p.m. tip.
