KINGFISHER, Okla. -- NOC Enid opened conference play Thursday with a doubleheader sweep of Rose State 2-0 and 3-2 at Kingfisher.
In Game 1, the Jets scored single runs in the 2nd and 4th and KK Harjo did the rest in a 2-0 win. Hayes and Cassidi Cook has two hits each for the Jets.
Harjo allowed just five hits and struck out six.
Morgan Hayes drove in Brylee Brungardt-Davis in the 2nd inning to give NOC a 1-0 lead. Brunghardt-Davis then tripled in the 4th and scored on a Sonia Mena ground out giving the Jets a 2-0 lead.
In Game 2, Mena drove in Addison Cassady with the go-ahead run in the 6th inning leading NOC past Rose State 3-2.
Hayden Haulcomb had the other Jet run batted in during a two run 3rd inning rally.
Ryan Gamble earned the win working five innings of five hit softball in back of Chloe Dallman-Janski.
What's Next: The Jets (16-14) host Seminole in a conference doubleheader Monday at 2 p.m./4 p.m. in Kingfisher.
