NOC fell to South Mountain (AZ) in Game 1 of the NJCAA West District Tournament Thursday 12-3. at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
The two teams play Game 2 of the best of three series Friday at 6 p.m. A third game, if needed, is set for 2 p.m. Saturday.
Three of NOC Enid's seven hits were home runs although all were solo shots.
Brock Boddie, Bryan Williams, and Cade Christensen homered for the Jets while Jake Ervin added a double. Lucas Dunn added two hits for the Jets.
Bennett Percival (9-4) suffered the loss allowing three earned runs on six hits. Ben Lindsey worked five innings allowing three earned runs while Barrett Herr worked the 9th for NOC Enid.
South Mountain had 16 hits on Thursday scoring multiple runs in five innings.
South Mountain improved to 45-16 while NOC Enid fell to 42-22.
The winner of the three game set advances to the NJCAA Division 2 World Series in Enid May 23.
