POTEAU, Oklahoma -- NOC Enid dropped two to Carl Albert on Saturday splitting the four game conference series.
The Jets (34-17) fell to 9-11 in conference while Carl Albert (28-19) improved to 9-11. NOC Enid, Carl Albert, and Redlands are currently tied for 3rd place in the West Division.
In Game 1, the Jets were outhit 7-4 and lost 5-1.
Noah Smith had the lone Jet run batted in, driving home Walker Wakeland in the 3rd inning. Connor Cavnar, Lucas Dunn, Smith and Wakeland had hits for the Jets.
Wyatt Rutledge (4-2) worked 3.2 innings followed by Catcher Lindley who worked the final 2.1 innings.
In Game 2, both offenses came alive in a 25-14 Carl Albert win.
Connor Cavnar hit two home runs including a Grand Slam for the Jets while Tanner Fallwell homered and singled driving in four runs. Lucas Dunn added a solo shot for the Jets.
Zack Graham, Barrett Herr, Carlos Lopez, Kade Varner, Isiaiah Smith, Wyatt Wilkinson, Brody Mahan, and Landon Kelough all worked for the Jets.
What's Next: The Jets are at UA Rich Mountain for the final regular season road doubleheader of the year in Mena, Arkansas, at 1 p.m./3:30 p.m.
