ALTUS, Okla. --  NOC Enid dropped a 21-19 slugfest to #14 Western on Saturday in Altus.

The teams split the four game series.

NOC Enid (32-15) is 7-9 in conference while the Pioneers (31=15) improved to 14-6.

The Jets outhit the Pioneers 18-16, Connor Cavnar, Jake Ervin, and Ty Wilson had three hits each while Connor Schlegel had five runs driven home and Ty Wilson, four.

Tanner Fallwell, Schlegel, and Wilson homered for the Jets.

Kade Varner, Carlos Lopez, Ben Lindsey, Brody Mahan, Wyatt Wilkinson, and Barrett Herr worked for the Jets.

NOC Enid led 19-13 before Western countered with eight unanswered runs.

What's Next:  The Jets continue conference play Wednesday hosting Carl Albert at 1 p.m./3:30 p.m.
