The NOC Enid Jets earned a split in Sunday's doubleheader against Northeast (NE) with a 9-1 win in Game 2 after dropping the first game 5-2.
Game 1
NOC rallied with two runs in the 7th but it was not enough in a 5-2 loss to Northeast on Sunday.
Lucas Dunn and Bryan Williams drove in runs for the Jets in the 7th.
Aiden Kilgore, Tanner Fallwell, Jake Ervin, Gunner Sattler, Williams, and Dunn had hits for the Jets. Fallwell had a double, the lone extra base hit.
Wyatt Rutledge, Brody Mahan, Jackson Papenfus, and Landon Kelough worked from the mound for the Jets.
Game 2
The Jets scored eight runs in the 4th in a 9-1 win over Northeast.
Bryan Williams drove in three runs while Tanner Fallwell drove in two.
In the 4th, the Jets sent 12 men to the plate with six consecutive Jets reaching base. Fallwell's triple was the key hit in the inning.
Catcher Lindley worked four scoreless innings earning his first win of the year. Barrett Herr earned the save working three innings allowing one run.
What's Next: The Jets host Des Moines Area Monday at noon at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
